\n\t\t\tInjured on the Job?\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t

At Cascade Back Pain Relief Chiropractic, our doctors and therapists are well versed in treating on the job injuries. Our goal is to get you healed and back to work as soon as possible. We are glad to work with your employer and the Department of Labor and Industries to assist you in your return to work. You do not need a referral from your medical doctor. In the State of Washington if you are injured on the job, you are eligible to have your injuries treated by the physician of your choice, including a chiropractor, even if your company is self-insured for work injuries. Your treatment is 100% paid for by the state. Employers pay an industrial insurance premium for all employees so that in the event of an injury you are covered even if you have no other health insurance. Some employers do not understand the Worker’s Compensation System and unfortunately can try to discourage workers from reporting injuries. What they often fail to understand is that an injury reported and treated doesn’t automatically increase their insurance rate. Rates are based on an “assumed” rate of injury that is typical for their industry so don’t feel responsible for causing a burden to your employer. Covering you is what the insurance is for.An employer may ask you to see “their” doctor or facility. They may even suggest your care will not be covered unless you do. This is false. While seeing a doctor contracted by your employer may be a perfectly good option, your employer may not force you to. It is always your choice.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t
